十九世纪英语美学文献学问题

Issues on English Aesthetic Literature in the 19^th Century

十九世纪英语美学涵盖了英伦和北美,是西方美学的一个重要组成部分。总体上说,十九世纪英语美学似不如德国甚至法国同期美学那样辉煌,但也有自己的区域特色和文化特点。这一时期英语美学存在哪些经典作家和经典文献,是西方美学研究的一个难题。本文从西方美学史、美学读本和大型文献丛书等三类著述入手,寻找在西方美学界被学术共同体所认可的经典作家和经典文献,进而描绘出十九世纪英语美学的知识图谱。在此基础上反观中国美学对十九世纪英语美学的传播和接受,在比较参照中发现本土研究所忽略的西方经典文献,探索改进中国的西方美学文献学建设的路径。

English aesthetics in the 19^th century,covering aesthetics of England and North America,is an im-portant part of Westermn aesthetics.Generally speaking,the 19^th century English aesthetics does not seem as brilliant as those of the same period in Germany and France,but it also has its own regional and cultural characteristics.Which classic writers and what classic literature can be found in English aesthetics during this period is a diffieult question in the study of Western aesthetics.This article starts with such three types of writings as the history of Westermn aesthetics,aesthetic readings and literature series,looking for classic writers and classic literature recognized by the academic community in West-ern aesthetics,and then depicting a knowledge map of English aesthetics in the 19^thcentury.On this ba-sis,after reviewing the spread and acceptance of the 19^th century English aesthetics by Chinese aesthet-ics,the article aims to discover classic Western literature ignored by local studies and explore the ways to improve the construction of Western aesthetic literature in China.
