The production of celadon, misty blue porcelain in Anxi County of Fujian Province began in the Song dynasty, developed rapidly in the Ming and Qing times with a number of kilns promoting the porcelain craftsmanship industry, and reached the peak in the late Ming and Qing dynasty. As early as in the middle Ming dynasty Fujian Province had the first kilns to fire the Jingdezhen-styled blue-and-white ceramics including the kilns in Anxi County which later served along with the kilns of Dehua and Dongxi as the important suppliers to the Ming and Qing dynasties with the exportedblue-and-white wares. The joint archaeological team composed of The History Department of Xiamen University, Fujian Provincial Museum, Anxi County Museum carried out a field survey(SeptemberDecember, 2019) excavating the oven ruins and sorting out the wares and the items of kiln furniture remains, which will work as the important objective materials in the research concerning the techniques development of kiln industry in Southern Fujian and the birthplace of exported blue-andwhite porcelain in the Ming and Qing times.
