余华的《古典爱情》套用了中国古典爱情小说的模式,其发展不断突破读者的阅读经验,文雅与残暴共现。男主角柳生人如其名,与树木构成隐喻关系。柳生数次踏上黄色大道,道路空间象征了人与世界的关系。柳生与小姐惠的交往存在诸多叙事空白,深宅大院的鬼气、菜人市场的残暴、还魂不得的失落,柳生虽处处参与,但实则游离在故事之外。余华或将自身对血腥与生命的体验赋予了柳生,柳生始终无法接触叙事核心,他是世界之外的孤独个体。

Yu Hua’s Classical Love applies the model of Chinese classical love novels, and its development breaks through the readers’ reading experience, showing the coexistence of elegance and cruelty. The hero, Liu Sheng, as his name suggests, forms a metaphorical relationship with trees. Liu Sheng steps onto the yellow road several times. The road space symbolizes the relationship between human and the world. There are a lot of narrative gaps in the communication between Liu Sheng and Miss Hui, such as the ghost of deep house yard, the cruelty of vegetable market and the loss of the soul. Although Liu Sheng participates everywhere, he actually dissociates in the story. Yu Hua may have endowed Liu Sheng with his own experience of blood and life. Liu Sheng has never been able to touch the core of narration. He is a lonely individual outside the world.
