《左传》“宰咺归赗”考

Exploration of“Chancellor Xuan Sent Funeral Oblation”in Zuo Zhuan

据《左传》解释,周王于鲁隐公元年遣使赠鲁惠公、仲子之丧品,但惠公死已逾年,仲子仍在世,不符合情理。考察史料及古今学人论述,可知周王赠赗时仲子已故,且早于惠公改葬,故《左传》的解释不合史实。

According to Zuo Zhuan,in the first year of Lu Yingong,the King of Zhou sent envoy to present funeral oblation to Lu Huigong and Zhong Zi,but Lu Huigong had been dead for more than one year and Zhong Zi was still alive,so it was not logical.Historical materials and scholars’remarks show that Zhong Zi had died when King of Zhou presented the funeral oblation,which was earlier than Lu Huigong’s funeral.Therefore,Zuo Zhuan’s explanations are not historical facts.
