本文主要叙述中国“文化大革命”期间由上山下乡和回乡的知识青年开展农村科学实验运动的情况。本文引用和参阅了大量文革期间农村科学实验运动的文献史料以及笔者本人多次在中国农村进行的人事访谈和实地考察获得的珍贵资料。史料的真实和丰富凸显了本文的特点和学术贡献。这里译载的是论文的后半部分。在“青年经历”的总标题下设了三个小标题,分别是:科学是机会、科学革命和科学浪漫、失败的痛苦,再现了数以百万计的知识青年在农村科学实验中的成功与失败、快乐与烦恼的复杂历程。最后是本文的一个重要而且含有深意的结语:青年与科学在1978年转型。

This paper mainly narrates the situation of the rural scientific experiment movement carried out by the young intellectuals who went to the countryside from cities and back to the countryside during the“Cultural Revolution”in China.This paper cites and refers to a large number of documents and historical materials of the rural scientific experiment movement during the cultural revolution,as well as valuable materials obtained from many personal interviews and field visits conducted by the author in rural China.The authenticity and richness of historical materials highlight the characteristics and academic contributions of this paper.Here is the second half of the thesis.Under the general title of“youth experience”,there are three subheadings:science is opportunity,scientific revolution and the pain of Scientific Romance and failure,which represent the complex process of success and failure,happiness and trouble of millions of educated youth in rural scientific experiments.The last part is an important and meaningful conclusion:the transformation of youth and Science in 1978.
