摘要 为扩增我国现有玉米种质基础提供重要理论依据,贵州省农业科学院旱粮研究所利用热带玉米Suwan1C11群体与温带Lancaster种质核心系Mo17构建的Suwan1C11×Mo17群体(Suwan-Lancaster)为基础材料,基于群间强优势互补与优良基因聚合选育方法,创制选育出优良苏兰(Suwan-Lancaster)群体温热玉米自交系QB446,该自交系具有产量高、出籽率高、脱水快及配合力高等优点。利用QB446自交系育成并通过审定的玉米杂交种目前有8个,QB446已成为我国南方玉米育种和生产应用的骨干自交系。 In order to provide an important theoretical basis for the amplification of existing maize germplasm base in China,based on the theories of intergroup strong complementation and breeding of good genes,QB446,an temperate-tropical maize inbred line,was developed by Institute of Upland Food Crops,Guizhou Academy of Agricultural Sciences,from the Suwan1C11×Mo17 population(Suwan-Lancaster)constructed by tropical maize Suwan1C11 population and temperate Lancaster germplasm core line Mo17.QB446 represents many merits,such as high yield,high seed rate,rapid dehydration,and high combining ability.By taking use of the elite breeding line QB446,eight commercial hybrid varieties have been officially approved.It has become a backbone inbred line in maize breeding and production in South China.
