新世纪的中国考古学应该站在世界学术的最前沿,思考中国考古的现在和未来;提倡在考古学研究中贯彻田野精神,让考古材料重新说话;多手段分析发掘获得的"实验数据",以实证主义的原则,置身本土文化以古人的视角理解古代中国的历史、文化、思想和价值观等,并率先讨论作为考古学的考古学,建立独立的学科体系.

Chinese archeology should stand at the forefront of world academic to think about the present and future of Chinese archeology in the new century.The studies of Chinese archeology advocate the field spirit to make archaeological materials spoken again.We can analysis the“experimental data”by multi-means,and insist on the principles of positivism,place ourselves in local culture to understand ancient China’s history,culture,ideology and values by the perspective of the ancients.Meanwhile,we can take the lead in discussing archaeology as archaeology,and establish an independent discipline system.
