海外华文文学研究,是20世纪70年代末80年代初以来逐渐孕育、形成和发展起来的.作为中国当代文学建构中的一个新兴学科领域,"海外华文文学研究"的研究者们发展学科的动力和旨归之一,便是构建独属于这个学科的概念、术语,以期实现新的学科的理论建构.近年来,学界已经逐渐注意到海外华文文学与中国当代文学叙述的兼容性问题.以北美华文文学为例:它与中国当代文学的兼容性,不仅已经在创作领域凸显,反映在评论研究方面,即要求研究者要考虑其与中国当代文学彼此兼容的问题,也已很有必要性和迫切性.可以说,与当代文学70年两相兼容的70年来的海外华文写作,存在一个醒目的女性形象谱系.在历史历时的渐进历程里,可以看到无根放逐、无根漂泊和渐欲落地生根的女性形象;看到历经离散、迁移的文化心理而日渐呈现错位归属心态和生存状态的女性形象;看到离散美学和文学命题之后,海外华文作家笔下寄寓繁富中国想象的女性形象.海外华文写作的女性形象谱系,不啻中国当代文学70年中最为精彩的华章.

Since the late 1970s and early 1980s,the study of overseas Chinese literature is a new discipline that has been gradually nurtured,formed and developed.In the course of the development of overseas Chinese literature research,the researchers have been constructing its own concepts,terms and new theories.But in recent years,scholars have gradually noticed the compatibility between overseas Chinese literature and contemporary Chinese literature.Taking north American Chinese literature as an example,its compatibility with contemporary literature is becoming not only a trend of creation,but also a necessity and urgency to consider its compatibility with contemporary literature for 70 years.It can be said that the 70 years of overseas Chinese writing,compatible with the 70 years of contemporary literature,has a striking genealogy of female images.In the history of diachronic gradual process,we can see the rootless exile,rootless drift and gradually want to root female images.After the separation and transfer of cultural psychology,the female image gradually presents a dislocation of belonging mentality and living state.What’s more,we can also see that after the discrete aesthetics and literature proposition,female images shoulder the responsibility of overseas Chinese writers to enrich the Chinese imagination.The genealogy of female images in overseas Chinese writing is the most splendid chapter of Chinese contemporary literature in the past 70 years.
