摘要
采用英语听力焦虑量表对167位高职非英语专业学生进行问卷调查,探究其听力焦虑问题。研究发现,高职非英语专业学生英语听力焦虑值处于中等程度;高年级学生的听力焦虑值高于低年级学生,男生大于女生,文科生与理科生无明显差别。高职英语教师应重视学生听力学习过程中存在的焦虑问题;上课时采用不同的授课方式,以适应不同年级学生的需求;多向男生传授英语听力策略,以降低其英语听力焦虑。
This study investigates English listening anxiety on non English majors in a college through 167 questionnaire surveys using English Listening Anxiety Scale.It is found out that college non English majors’anxiety is of medium level.Besides,senior class students held a higher anxiety compared with junior class students.Boys have higher anxiety than girls.There exits little difference between the anxiety of liberal art students and students majoring in science.This study enlightens that teachers should attach more importance to students’listening anxiety in class.Furthermore,different teaching approaches is advised to be adopted to meet the needs of senior class students and junior class students.Besides,more listening strategies need to be taught to boys to reduce their anxiety.
