都市青年婚前同居的代际分歧与协商机制研究

Inter-generational Differences and Negotiation Mechanism of Urban Youth s Premarital Cohabitation

近二十年来,婚前同居作为一种生活方式逐渐在中国社会蔓延开来。通过对13位城市同居青年的深度访谈,初步呈现了中国城市青年婚前同居的代际关系分歧和协商机制。研究表明,个人主义并非建构中国城市青年婚前同居生活的唯一基础,以父母为代表的传统力量依然会影响或制约子代婚前同居生活的结局与走向。面对传统与现代的博弈,代际之间可以通过协商与包容妥善化解关于婚前同居的分歧,从而实现代际关系的平衡发展。研究还发现,当前中国城市青年的婚前同居并没有与家本位的婚姻制度形成此消彼长的关系。在父母以及社会舆论的催促下,绝大多数都市青年群体都会自觉或不自觉地进入婚姻关系。

In the past 20 years,premarital cohabitation as a way of life has gradually spread in China.Through in-depth interviews with 13 urban cohabitation youth,this paper presents the inter-generational differences and negotiation mechanism of urban youth premarital cohabitation in China.The research shows that individualism is not the only basis for the construction of premarital cohabitation of urban youth in China,and the traditional power represented by parents still affects or restricts the trend and outcome of their children s premarital cohabitation.In the face of the traditional and modern game,through consultation and tolerance between generations,the differences about premarital cohabitation have been properly resolved,and the balanced development of inter-generational relations has been achieved.Moreover,the current premarital cohabitation of urban youth in China does not have a relationship with the family based marriage system.Under the urging of parents and public opinion,the vast majority of Chinese people will consciously or unconsciously enter into marriage.
