糖尿病周围神经病变归属于中医"消渴""痹病"范畴,是消渴病的慢性并发症之一。赵继福教授通过对消渴病病变进展的深入研究,指出糖尿病周围神经病变多发生于消渴病虚损阶段,并根据临床症状与病因病机特点,提出以益气温阳通络法治疗本病,临床疗效显著。

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy belongs to the category of "consumptive thirst"and"arthralgia"in traditional Chinese medicine,and it is one of the chronic complications of diabetes.Professor Zhao Jifu pointed out that the peripheral neuropathy of diabetes occurs mostly in the stage of deficiency of diabetes.According to the clinical symptoms,the characteristics of the pathogenesis and pathogenesis,he proposed to treat the disease with benefiting qi and warmiung yang for removing obstruction in collaterals method.The clinical effect is significant.
