摘要
儿童是什么?儿童是人,但不是“小大人(微型成人)”;儿童是童心主义学说中的“大人”,是赫拉克利特主义哲学中的“王者”;儿童是探索者、哲学家和思想家;儿童是艺术家;儿童是梦想家;儿童是游戏者;儿童是自然人;儿童是历史之子;“儿童是成人之父”;儿童是成人之师;儿童是破坏者,更是建设者;儿童也是文化的创造者。现代教育学是追随儿童的教育学,是以儿童研究为基础的教育学。教育不仅应当以儿童为本位,全部人生亦应当以儿童为本位,社会建设、文化建设也应当以儿童为本位。可以说,“儿童是什么”是教育学乃至人文社会学科的头等问题。
What is a child?Child is a person,but not a“mini-adult”.Child is a great man in Chinese philosophy of the heart/mind of child and the“King”in Heraclitan philosophy.Child is an explorer,a philosopher and a thinker.Child is an artist.Child is a dreamer.Child is a player.Child is a natural man.Child is the son of history.The“Child is father of the man”.Child is a teacher of adult.Child is a destroyer,but also a builder.Child is also a creator of culture.Modern pedagogy is a pedagogy that follows child,and is a pedagogy based on child studies.Not only education should be child-rooted,but also all life should be child-rooted,and social and cultural construction should also be child-rooted as well.It can be said that“what a child is”is the top issue in pedagogy and even humanities and social sciences.
