摘要
外语界对非英语专业文科生和理工科生思辨能力的研究不多。对思辨能力研究的理论和实践基础进行了分析,发现大学英语学生思辨能力不足、有待提高;对大学英语学生思辨能力的培养提出建议,呼吁高校加强思辨能力的培养,为社会培养更多优秀人才。
In the field of foreign language,there is little research on the critical thinking ability of non-English majors,students of liberal arts and students of science and engineering.The researcher’s major findings are summarized as follows:the College English Students,both liberal arts majors and science and engineering ones,are lack of critical thinking skills.However,all the students are eager to improve and develop critical thinking skills.The findings of the study can offer some implications to College English teachers and authority for utilizing effective methods in class to develop students’critical thinking skills.
