To Pave the Way for National Security with Chinese Characteristics based on the Holistic Concept of National Security

总体国家安全观的核心要义在于始终坚持人民安全、政治安全、国家利益至上的有机统一。总体国家安全观的特点在于“总体性”和“辩证性”,即强调国家安全观念的全面、系统和辩证,强调国家安全要素的相互联动、相互影响,强调国家安全战略的统筹协调、综合施策。总体国家安全观丰富和发展了中国特色社会主义理论体系,开辟了中国特色国家安全理论新境界,为推动构建人类命运共同体提供了中国方案。构建中国特色国家安全道路,必须始终坚持党对国家安全工作的集中统一领导,必须始终坚持以人民为中心,必须注重法治建设,必须始终坚持总体性,必须始终注重统筹国内国际两个大局、发展安全两件大事。

The core essence of the holistic concept of national security lies in the organic unity of people’s security,political security and national interests.The characteristics of the holistic concept of national security lie in its“totality”and“dialectics”,that is,it emphasizes the comprehensive,systematic and dialectical concept of national security,the interaction and mutual influence between elements of national security,and the overall coordination and comprehensive implementation of national security strategy.The holistic concept of national security has enriched and developed the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics,opened up a new realm of theories of national security with Chinese characteristics,and provided a Chinese plan for building a community with a shared future for mankind.To pave the way for national security with Chinese characteristics,we must always adhere to the Party’s centralized and unified leadership over the national security work,adhere to the people centrism,pay attention to the development of rule of law,adhere to the holistic concept,coordinate the domestic and international general situations,and do well the two great work of security.
