Xiao Hong,known as“Goddess of the Luo River in 1930s”,made great contribution to the history of modern fictions with her works,although they are not favored by many scholars.In the paper below,an analysis was made of the natural images in her fictions including animals,plants and those in the air from the 3 perspectives of their origins,characteristics and roles to help readers gain an insight into these entities incorporating her understanding of life and home created with her bright poetic language.
