With the development and progress of our country's economy and society,bridge engineering,as the basic social engineering of our country,the construction scale is getting bigger and bigger.Prestressing technique is a new construction technique at present and its application in bridge construction in China is becoming mature gradually.This paper discusses the characteristics of prestressing technique,the application of prestressing technique in bridge construction and relevant case analysis,hoping to be helpful to the actual bridge construction.
