Socialist Theory and Practice:A Comparative Study

自马克思恩格斯创建科学社会主义理论以来,社会主义从理论到实践经历了三个发展阶段,即马克思恩格斯创建理论的阶段、将理论变为现实的社会主义政权建立及其影响逐步扩展的阶段、中国在社会主义建设道路上做出成功探索的阶段。每个发展阶段都有伟大历史人物产生,他们面对不同的历史时期和不同国情条件,在理论与实践中做出不同于前人的探索和建树,在继承与创新、坚持与发展中不断丰富科学社会主义的理论与实践内涵。本文将对这三个不同的历史时期分别予以考察,既揭示社会主义理论与实践的顽强生命力,也揭示中国特色社会主义建设事业的世界历史意义。

Since Marx and Engels founded the theory of scientific socialism, socialism has gone through three stages of development from theory to practice: the stage in which Marx and Engels founded the theory, the stage in which the theory of socialism was established and its influence gradually expanded, as well as the stage of China’s successful exploration on the road of socialist construction. At each stage of development, great historical figures are produced. Facing different historical periods and different national conditions, they have made explorations and achievements which are different from their predecessors in theory and practice. They constantly enrich the theoretical and practical connotation of scientific socialism through inheritance and innovation as well as persistence and development. This article will examine these three different historical periods, revealing not only the tenacious vitality of socialist theory and practice, but also the world historical significance of constructing the socialism with Chinese characteristics.
