鲁迅与狄更斯底层儿童形象比较研究——以《呐喊》《彷徨》与《雾都孤儿》为例

A Comparative Study on the Image of Lower-class Children in Lu Xun’s and Dickens’s Works:A Case Study of“Shout”“Wandering”and“Oliver Twist”

鲁迅与狄更斯分别是中英文坛上举足轻重的文学巨匠,他们都具有高度社会责任感,始终关注底层儿童的生存状况及精神成长,与广大不幸穷苦人民站在一起,用强劲有力的笔无情地揭露社会对儿童的残忍,深切同情底层儿童的悲惨处境,希望通过文学唤醒人们对儿童境遇的关注。从比较文学平行研究的方法入手,通过具体作品《呐喊》《彷徨》与《雾都孤儿》,探讨鲁迅与狄更斯笔下形象各异的儿童,分析造成儿童悲惨处境的原因,以及二人作品的异同。

Lu Xun and Dickens are the most important literary giants respectively in China and the Great Britain.They all have a high sense of social responsibility.They always pay attention to the living conditions and spiritual growth of the lower-class children.They stand with the masses of the unfortunate and the poor.They use their powerful pen to expose the cruelty of the society to the children.And they show deep sympathy with the miserable situation of those children,hoping to arouse people’s attention to their situation through their literary works.The method of parallel study of comparative literature is adopted to study the different images of children in LU Xun’s“Shout”,“Wandering”and in Dickens’s“Oliver Twist”,including an analysis of the similarities and differences between their works as well as the causes of those children’s miserable situation.
