《诺桑觉寺》是简·奥斯丁早期完成的一部长篇小说,因初涉文坛,笔锋略显青涩,因此在简·奥斯丁的六部传世之作中研究相对较少。《诺桑觉寺》以当时最为典型的哥特作品作为参照物,在场景铺陈、人物构建等方面都戏仿了时下流行的哥特式文风。通过细读原著,挖掘小说细节处的哥特元素。

“Northanger Abbey”was completed by Jane Austen in the earlier period.Because of her immature writing skills,the novel receives less attention and study compared with Austen’s all other novels.With the reference of the typical Gothic novels,the novel parodies the popular style of writing.The paper tries to reveal the gothic elements of the details in the novel.
