自身自然的退场:疫情重创体育的后现代文化隐喻

Quitting of Human’s Own Nature: Post-Modern Cultural Metaphor of COVID-19 Pandemic Hitting Sport

新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情导致全球体育受到重创。面对全球性的灾难性事件,为何体育受到的影响尤其剧烈?笔者并非要分析其现实因素,而是将这一事件视作"隐喻":在后现代文化语境下,"自身自然"——这一体育实践与产业的基础要素正受到重大挑战,甚至面临退场的危险。笔者借助身体哲学、技术哲学(媒介环境学)、结构主义符号学的相关思想资源,简要回顾从古代到近代以来身体转向的历史过程,进而从4个方面探索自身自然退场的原因:自身自然的广延性被排挤,自身自然的有限性被遮蔽,自身自然的反抗性被驯化,自身自然的不完满性——自由性被压制。正是因为自身自然在后现代语境中找不到位置,甚至被视为拖累和可取代的,可能面临着退场的可能。不过,笔者也依然认为这并非自身自然的宿命,如果我们能承认自身自然的种种缺陷和不完满,依然能够找到自身自然和后现代语境结合的实践出路。

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused heavy losses to global sport.In the face of global catastrophic events,why sport is particularly affected?Instead of focusing on realistic factors,this paper considers this event as cultural metaphor,in the post-modern cultural context,human’s own nature,which is regarded as the basic elements of sports practice and sports industry,is facing great challenges,even facing the risk of quitting.With the help of relevant theories of body philosophy,technical philosophy(media ecology)and structuralist semiotics,this paper briefly reviews the historical process of the body turning from ancient times to modern times,and then explores the reasons for the quitting of human’s own nature from four aspects,including that the extensivity of human’s own nature is marginalized;the limitation of human’s own nature is covered;the resistance of human’s own nature is domesticated;and the freedom of human’s own nature is suppressed(its incompleteness).It is precisely because human’s own nature itself cannot find its place in the post-modern context,or even is regarded as a drag,leading to its possible quitting.However,the authors still believe that this is not the fate of human’s own nature.If we can admit all kinds of defects and imperfections of human’s own nature,we can still find a practical way to combine human’s own nature with the post-modern context.
