In the past winter and spring, the images of the empty cities all over the world piled up in the internet. New York Times published an article titled The Great Emptiness along with photos of different empty cities around the globe. This article focuses on the special narratives of the public art in a no man’s land when human is "suddenly absent". It asserts that on this particular occasion, public art can be of positive use in revitalizing the narratives, engaging mental intervention and rebuilding aesthetics.
