There are many delicacies in Qingdao such as seafood,braised food,delicacies from the mountains,cooked wheaten food,etc.Today,we are talking about cooked wheaten food.Speaking of that in Qingdao,the first thing that comes to mind is the steamed bun in Laoshan District,which has become an internet sensation.Generations of ingenious women have been inheriting and innovating the dough modelling skills with rich local cultural characteristics,and have created the well-known brand"Wanggezhuang Big Steamed Bun"with their deft hands.In 2015,Laoshan dough modelling was successfully included in the catalogue of Qingdao municipal representative intangible cultural heritage items.Now,"Wanggezhuang Big Bun Steamed in Iron Pan"has become an integral part of Qingdao delicacies.To better carry forward the processes of making Wanggezhuang traditional steamed bun,and form an industrialized and coordinated management and service pattern,Qingdao Wanggezhuang Artistic and Fancy Steamed Bun Production Base was established in Wanggezhuang Sub-district in Laoshan District in August 2006,which is located in the Wanggezhuang Sub-district Office.
