Hong Kong Film Industry under the Leadership of the Southern Bureau of the CPC

南方局领导下的香港电影人由“迁入香港的内地影人”和“香港影人”共同构成,他们形成了牢固而广泛的电影战线,创作了一批在海内外产生重大影响的优秀电影作品,极大地鼓舞了中国人民的爱国热情和抗战决心,也有力宣传了中国共产党的政治主张和革命理想,同时还为中国的电影事业培养了大量的优秀人才。历史经验告诉我们,应加强党对电影工作的领导,建立电影界的统一战线,重视电影工作者的思想建设,将电影艺术的追求与为民族谋复兴融为一体,推动新时代中国特色社会主义电影事业发展。

The Hong Kong filmmakers under the leadership of the Southern Bureau of the CPC is an important part of the history of Chinese film.The filmmakers under the leadership of the Southern Bureau are composed of“mainland filmmakers”and“Hong Kong filmmakers”.In Hong Kong they have built a solid and extensive movie front and created a number of outstanding film works with great influence at home and abroad,which have greatly inspired the patriotic enthusiasm and determination of the Chinese people in the war of resistance against Japan,and vigorously publicized the political views and revolutionary ideal of the Communist Party of China,at the same time cultivated a large number of outstanding workers for China’s film industry.Historical experience tells us that we should strengthen the party’s leadership over film work,establish a united front in the film industry,attach importance to the ideological construction of film workers,integrate the pursuit of film art with the rejuvenation of the nation,and promote the development of socialist film industry with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
