Margaret Mann was an important educator in library science of America in the 20th century.Mann had been engaged in library science education for 50 years.She got profound attainments in the research of library bibliography,and thoroughly reformed traditional cataloguing procedures in practice.She went to the American Library Association School in Paris,France to teach cataloging and classification courses.Library cataloguing professionals were trained to improve the development of most large libraries in the United States.Mann's contribution to library classification and cataloguing is still praised.
