摘要
采用高温熔融法制备组成为61SiO2-2AlF3-x BaF2-(25-x)BaO-6Gd2O3-6Tb2O3(x=0、5、10、15、20、25)的钆-钡-硅酸盐闪烁玻璃。测试玻璃密度,分析紫外-可见透射光谱、激发光谱、发射光谱、荧光衰减曲线和X射线激发发射光谱,研究BaF2取代BaO对Tb^3+发光性能影响。结果表明:随BaF2逐渐取代BaO,玻璃密度略有降低,紫外截止波长向短波方向移动,但Tb^3+的发光强度显著提高,荧光寿命变长。以X射线为激发源时,BaF2完全取代BaO后,Tb^3+的发光强度较取代前提高1.6倍。与BGO闪烁体相比,积分闪烁效率达到BGO闪烁体的123%,表明Tb^3+激活钆-钡-硅酸盐闪烁玻璃在X射线探测或成像领域极具应用潜力。
The Gd-Ba-silicate scintillating glasses composed of 61 SiO2-2AlF3-x BaF2-(25-x)BaO-6 Gd2O3-6 Tb2O(3 x=0,5,10,15,20,25)in molar ratio were prepared by high-temperature melting method.Their density,transmission spectra,photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra,luminescence decay curves and X-ray excited luminescence spectra wereanalyzed.Effect of the substitution of BaF2 for BaO on the luminescence properties of Tb^3+activated Gd-Ba-silicate scintillatingglasses were studied.The results show that the density of the glass decreases slightly and the UV cut-off wave length movestoward the short wave length as BaF2 gradually replaces BaO,but the luminescence intensity of Tb^3+increases significantly andthe lifetime turns longer.As X-ray excited luminescence,the emission intensity can be improved by 1.6 times after BaF2 fullyreplaces BaO.Compared with BGO scintillator,the integral scintillation efficiency reaches 123%of the BGO scintillator.Theseresults imply that the developed silicate scintillating glasses can be potential candidate for X-ray detection or imaging.
