Conservation and High Quality Development of Wetlands in the Yellow River Basin

黄河是中国第二长河,是中华民族的母亲河,孕育了灿烂的中华文明,保护黄河是事关中华民族伟大复兴和永续发展的千秋大计。黄河流域作为中国北方重要的生态屏障和经济地带,在中国经济社会发展和生态安全方面地位显著。党中央着眼于生态文明建设全局,深入理解绿色发展理念,提出了保护黄河的重大国家战略。湿地生态系统保护是黄河流域保护的重要一环,加强黄河流域湿地保护治理,对维护黄河流域生态系统功能,保障黄河长治久安,促进全流域高质量发展具有重要意义。当前黄河流域的生态环境脆弱,资源配置不合理,湿地被过度开发,流域湿地生态系统退化形势严峻。为了深入了解黄河流域湿地的状况,推动湿地保护工作,简述了黄河流域湿地的现状,重点从黄河流域湿地存在的问题出发,以生态文明思想为引导,以维护黄河生态安全为目标,探究黄河流域湿地保护与高质量发展的协同模式,提出加强黄河流域湿地保护和高质量发展的建议,以实现黄河成为造福人民的幸福河的美好愿景。

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China and the mother river of the Chinese nation. It has bred a splendid Chinese civilization. The conservation of the Yellow River is related to the great rejuvenation and sustainable development of China. As an important ecological barrier and economic zone in northern China, the Yellow River basin plays an important role in China’s economic development and ecological securitymaintenance. Focusing on the overall situation of ecological civilization construction, the concept of green developmentt has thoroughly understood, and proposed a major national strategy to protect the Yellow River. The conservation of wetland ecosystem is an important part of the conservation of the Yellow River basin. Strengthening the conservation and management of the wetlands in the Yellow River basin is of great significance for maintaining the ecosystem function, ensuring the long-term stability of the Yellow River and promoting the high-quality development of the whole basin. At present, the ecological environment of the Yellow River basin is fragile, the resource allocation is severely over-exploited, and degradation of the wetlands in the Yellow River basin is severe. For further understanding the development status of the Yellow River basin, promotingthe conservation of watershed wetlands, this paper briefly described the basic situation and the wetlands in the Yellow River basin. Furthermore, based on the problems existing in the wetlands of the Yellow River basin, guided by the thought of ecological civilization and with the goal of maintaining the ecological security of the Yellow River, this study explored the conservation of wetlands and high-quality development strategy, and put forward policy suggestions to strengthen the conservation of ecological and high-quality development of the Yellow River, so as to realize the beautiful vision of the Yellow River to being a happy river for the benefit of the people.
