Li Dazhao’s View on the Youth and Its Modern Inspiration

作为五四运动时期中国青年运动的杰出领袖,李大钊一直关注青年问题,他以极大的热情唤起青年的觉醒,鼓励青年要投身社会,树立政治理想,以劳工为师,在实践中成长,培养坚韧不拔的精神,成为改变社会的有生力量。李大钊还为青年争取权利,关注青年的身心健康,较早提出了青年全面发展的主张。李大钊的青年观对于当今青年的健康成长仍具有重要的时代意义。

As a distinguished leader of Chinese youth movement during the period of the May 4th Movement,Li Dazhao had always been concerned with the youth and tried to awaken them with his great enthusiasm.He encouraged the youth to take part in social movement,establish political dream,take the labourer as their teachers,grow up with practice,be persistent and unyielding and finally become the effective strength to reform the society.In addition,he struggled for youth’s rights,paid his attention to their physical and mental health and put forward the idea about the youth’s all-rounded development as a forerunner.Li Dazhao’s view on the youth is still important for the healthy growth of the modern youth.
