Bargain on the Border:The Social Life of Entrance Space in East Zhejiang

乡村社会中对公私空间的理解并不是界限分明的,住宅中的过渡空间便是其弹性边界的表现。本文考察了一个当代乡村中的民居入口,通过对25个住宅样本与入口特征的分析,将家门口的空间析释为不同的层级,并借由人类学式的场景描摹再现了村民对入口空间的布置、使用与理解。

The understanding of public and private space in rural society is not tangibly dear,and the flexible border of it can be represented by the transitional space in the house.This article examines the entrance space of ordinary houses in a contemporary village.Through the analysis of 25 houses and entrances,the space at the door is diluted to different levels,and the villagers'arranging,using and understanding towards the entrance are re-depicted through the anthropological writing.
