滇越铁路对近代中国河口-越南老街的空间塑造

Integrate the Modern Spatial Emergence of Hekou(China)-Lao Cai(Vietnam)by Kunming-Haiphong Railway

河口和老街是中越边界两侧的双子城,规模相近、城区相连。1910年全线通车的滇越铁路由法国滇越铁路公司筹建并运营。该铁路连接云南昆明与越南海防,在边境上经过河口与老街。文章以滇越铁路公司及其在地实践为线索展开历史田野调查,回顾在铁路建造前、建造中与建成运营三个阶段现代知识和文化对双子城空间的塑造。

Hekou and Lao Cai are border twin towns which are similar in size and adjacent to each other.Kunming-Haiphong Railway has operated since 1910 by Compagnie frangaise des chemins de fer de I'lndochine et du Yunnan(CIY),a modern transnational corporation.The railway connects the capital of Yunnan Province,China with the biggest coastal port in northern Vietnam,and passes Hekou-Lao Cai on the border.This research explores how the railway selection,investigation,construction and operation has changed the urban space of Hekou-Lao Cai from the perspective of CIY and its local practice in the borderland.
