The Shanxi Buddhist temple construction has rich regional features, complete time span, various architectural forms, flexible spatial layout and rich cultural connotation. This text analyzes the relationship between space and geographical environment, Patriarchal clan ethics and Buddhist belief, and sums up the features and organizing principles of integral space, courtyard space and hall space of Shanxi Buddhist Temple.
