摘要
《琴之空音》是夏目漱石早期的短篇小说,于1905年5月1日首发于《七人》杂志,后收入短篇小说集《漾虚集》,是该集所收七个短篇中的第四篇。本论文以《琴之空音》中津田讲述的幽灵故事为中心,将其置于19世纪中叶以后流行的心灵研究大潮中进行探讨;进而梳理漱石对死后意识(幽灵)的看法;最后结合日俄战争造成的大量死亡,指出《琴之空音》中的"幽灵"叙事对明治政府的"英魂"死亡话语形成了挑战。
Natsume Soseki is one of the representative writers of Meiji Japan and a witness of the Japanese modernization and enlightenment movement."Illusory Sound of Koto"is a short piece from Natsume Soseki's early collection of short stories Drifting in Space published in 1906.This paper discusses the meaning of the ghost story told by one of the heroes in"Illusory Sound of Koto,"analyses the meaning of"ghost"by putting it back into the social context of Psychical research and spiritualism in the late 19th and early 20th century,and explores the writer’s view on"life after death."
