民粹主义是全球性与区域本土化并行的政治实践,具有复杂多元的历史背景、文化资源和实践样态。从近年来西方民粹主义蔓延,发展趋势及其影响机理来看’跨越“左”“右”、简单化政治与反抗性运动是民粹主义的普遍共性。当前,西方民粹主义具有“本土主义”的思想内核、“反全球化”的表现特征及政党式运动化议题聚合型的运行机制。民粹主义在全球范围内的年轻化趋势,将成为理解民粹主义社会基础的重要面向。

Populism is a political practice integrating both globalization and localization,which has complex and diverse historical backgrounds,cultural resources and practice patterns.From the perspective of the spread,development trend and influence mechanism of the Western populism in recent years,their common features include they have transcended the "leftist" or "rightist" stands,simplified politics and advocated resistance.At present,Western populism has the ideological core of "nativism",the outer "anti-globalization" characteristics,and the operation mechanism of political party movements and agenda aggregation.The trend of increasingly young followers of populism across the globe will become an important aspect of the understanding of the social basis of populism.
