National defense is a systematic strategic project that the whole people participate in,and it is the common cause of the people of all ethnic groups in China.According to the survey data,the national defense awareness of ethnic minority college students is still in a perceptual level,but has not yet risen to the rational level,and the cognitive and behavioral ability to consciously fulfill national defense obligations is weak,which,to some extent,results in a certain gap between the implementation of national defense and the actual needs of the whole nation.The new era opens a new journey and calls for new actions.National defense awareness,as the"great spiritual wall"to safeguard national unity,progress and national security and unity,should adapt to the development requirements of the new era in terms of educational concept,content and form,so as to safeguard the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the building of a sense of community of the Chinese nation.
