Ideological and Political Education for College Studentsamid the Coronavirus Pandemic

重大疫情的爆发,高校要加强思想政治教育,帮助大学生树牢核心价值观和理想信念,化解负面影响和实际困难,培养大学生具有科学精神和认知能力,广大教师要将爱国主义教育、使命担当教育、疾病预防教育、社会规则教育、宣传舆论引导、学生心理疏导这“四教二导”作为思想教育的着力点,“因事而化、因时而进、因势而新”,抓好思政“主阵地”、讲好抗“疫”专业课、用好新媒体新技术、开好主题党团活动,从而做好大学生的引路人。

In the face of the grave coronavirus pandemic,colleges and universities must strengthen ideological and political work,urging students to internalize the core socialist values and hold firm convictions and helping them overcome the adverse effects and practical difficulties caused by the pandemic.While stressing patriotism and accountability,teachers need to educate students on disease prevention and observation of social rules and provide correct public opinion guidance and effective psychological counseling.It is important to make good use new media and new technology in conducting Party and Youth League activities and to combine ideological and political education with the fight against the pandemic.
