摘要
采用传统的粉末冶金方法制备了具有非典型芯壳结构的Ti(C,N)基金属陶瓷棒材,然后把金属陶瓷棒材加工成4刃平头立铣刀,将其与传统的涂层硬质合金铣刀用在MAZAK数控机床上,进行针对304不锈钢的切削性能对比试验,并采用SEM和超景深显微镜观察铣刀的组织和刃口的形貌。经过比较得出,在切削速度为90 m/min、切深6.0 mm、切宽0.3 mm、每齿进给量0.03~0.06 mm的条件下,金属陶瓷立铣刀的使用寿命是硬质合金涂层刀具的6~10倍,且加工件的表面光洁度也更好。
TiCN-based cermets bars with atypical core-shell structure are prepared by traditional powder metallurgy method.The cermets bars are machined into 4-edge flat end milling cutters,which is compared with the traditional coated carbide milling cutters on Mazak numerical control machine tool for 304 SS cutting properties test.The microstructure and edge morphology of the milling cutters are observed by SEM and ultra field depth microscope.The results show that the service life of cermets end milling cutters is 6~10 times longer than that of the coated carbide milling cutters when the cutting speed is 90 m/min,the cutting depth is 6.0 mm,the cutting width is 0.3 mm,and the feed rate per tooth is 0.03~0.06 mm.At the same time,the machined parts have better surface finish.
