This paper introduces the phenomenon and basic characteristics of shear lag in civil engineering structures,summarizes the research methods of shear lag in near bridge structures and building structures both at home and abroad,reviews the applicability and limitations of various theories and methods,and summarizes the research results of shear lag in civil engineering structures so far.The basis for further research is provided,and the prospect of shear lag research is prospected.
