中国音乐文化研究的“城市转向”:兼议“音乐苏州学”及其建构

The Shift to Urban Perspective in Chinese Music Culture Research:The Construction of Suzhou Music Studies

当前城市居民已成为我国人口构成的主体。音乐文化研究要主动适应这样的“大变局”。近来“音乐地方学”的研究议题,既是区域音乐文化研究的深入,也是音乐文化研究“城市转向”的一种预兆。“历史文化名城”苏州,音乐文化历史积淀深厚,当代音乐文化的发展也独树一帜,有历史与现代“双面绣”之美誉。学术概念“音乐苏州学”的提出正当其时。它属于“地方性知识”音乐研究议题,重点在于研究和揭示苏州音乐区别于其他城市的独特品质。“音乐苏州学”的体系建构,可从“静态的二维模式”和“动态的互动模式”两方面入手,即,研究苏州音乐的历史及时空演变、转换中的苏州音乐的文化表征和内涵特质,其中后者是揭示苏州音乐“苏州性”的重要路径。

Nowadays,urban residents have become the main body of China s population.The study of music culture should take the initiative to adapt to such great changes.Recently,the research topic of“music local study”has become not only the in-depth study of regional music culture,but also foresees the“urban shift”in music culture research.Suzhou,a famous historical and cultural city,has a profound history of music culture as well as a unique development of contemporary music culture.It has both a historical and modern reputation.The concept of“Suzhou music studies”was put forward at just the right time.It belongs to the“local knowledge”topic of music research and focuses on the study and revelation of the unique quality of Suzhou music that distinguishes it from other cities.The system of construction of“Suzhou music studies”can be researched from two aspects;that of“static two-dimensional model”,and“dynamic interactive model”,that is to say the study the history of Suzhou music,and the cultural representation and connotations of Suzhou music in the evolution and transformation of time and space.The latter is an important way to reveal the unique nature of Suzhou music.
