古田临水宫又称顺懿庙,是一座供奉临水夫人陈靖姑的道教信仰建筑。古田县山高林密,可造屋的杉木十分丰富。临水宫的建造就地取材,采用木构架大屋顶的结构方式,后经历代多次修葺与扩建,使其在发展过程中对民间艺术文化产生了重要影响。尤其是建筑顶部的结构造型,具有明显的地方特色,也突显出独特的艺术魅力。

Gutian Linshui Temple,which is also called Shunyi Temple,is a Taoist belief dedicated to Chen Jinggu.Gutian County has high mountains and dense forests,and the Chinese fir is very rich.Linshui Palace are built of drawing on the spot,it adopts the wooden frame and the large roof as the structural style.After been repaired and expanded for many times,Gutian Linshui Temple has had an important impact on folk art and culture in the process of development.Especially the structure at the top of the building has different styles,also highlights the unique artistic charm.
