摘要
同伴互助学习小组已成为来华留学生群体中的一种自发现象。本文通过对来华留学生自发性同伴互助学习小组成员的访谈分析发现,互助小组具有满足留学生群体在跨文化情境下个性化学习需求的功能,在提升学业成就和学习获得感的同时,也发挥着促进人际交往、提供情感支持和共享知识经验的作用。学业压力、交往需要和成就动机是同伴互助学习小组形成的动因,自发性、平等自治和对话讨论是不同类型互助小组的共性特征,知识共享和意义建构是互助小组成员共同追求的核心价值。研究也发现自发性互助小组存在组织松散性、缺乏自我评估及学习策略指导等不足,建议我国高校及教师积极回应当下学习转型的要求,塑造“以促进学习为中心”的合作学习文化,在实践中运用和发展同伴互助学习理论。
Through the in-depth interview with groups and individuals of the spontaneous peer-assisted learning(PAL)of international students in China,this study revealed that PAL had the positive functions of meeting international students'learning needs in the intercultural learning environment,including improving their academic achievement and the sense of acquisition,promoting interpersonal communication and emotional supports,and sharing knowledge and experience.The foreign students'PAL groups were driven by academic pressure,communication needs and achievement motivations,and had the common features such as spontaneity,equal autonomy and dialogue.However,there were also some shortcomings such as the loose organization,lack of self-assessment and learning strategies instructions.The theory and practical application of PAL could provide innovative perspective and path for the reform of cooperative learning concept,mode and culture in Chinese HEI context.
