摘要
《沉默》是日本第三新人作家远藤周作基督教文学的代表作。通过对小说耶稣形象塑造和主人公洛特里哥从信教到弃教这一心路历程的考察可以发现,洛特里哥心中的耶稣形象变化与他对个体身份认同的叩问密不可分,体现了作家对战后主体性建构和个体身份认同问题的深刻思考。在此意义上,《沉默》是一部蕴含着强烈主体意识的小说,其对个人主体性的彰显呈现出与战后派作家相似的思想政治性,在很大程度上体现了远藤周作对战后派文学的继承。
Silence is a representative work of Christian literature written by Endo Shusaku who is a representative writer of The Third Generation of Postwar Writers. Through the images of Jesus and the spiritual journey of the hero Sebastiao Rodrigues from believing in religion to abandoning religion in the novel,we can find that the changes of Jesus’ image in Sebastiao Rodrigues’s mind is closely related to his inquiry about individual identity. It reflects the writer’s deep thinking on the construction of postwar subjectivity and personal identity.In this sense,Silence is a novel with strong individual consciousness,the manifestation of individual subjectivity in the novel shows similar ideological and political characteristics to those of postwar writers. To a great extent,it embodies the inheritance of postwar literature.
