A Comparative Study on the Acoustics of the Short Vowels of the Initial Syllable in Chen Barag Vernacular and Standard Pronunciation

Based on the"Vowel D atabase of Chen Barag V ernacular",Our research team conducted the study on the acoustics of the short vowels of the initial syllable in Chen Barag vernacular by using the theory and method of experimental linguistics.By comparing short vowels of the initial syllable in Chen Barag vernacular w ith the param eter of standard pronunciation»we found the similarities and differences of short vowels and tongue position.
