Reflections on the Transformation of English Teaching Mode in Colleges and Universities in Ethnic Minority Areas

With the development of Internet technology,MOOC has become a new teaching m ethod,which promotes the reform and upgrading of traditional English teaching mode.Based on the analysis of the current situation of English teaching in colleges and universitievS in ethnic m inority areas,this paper points out that the high—quality MOOC resources are of great significance to promote the transform ation of English teaching mode.At the same tim e,through the analysis of the inherent limitations of the MOOC,this paper puts forward three thoughts,nam ely»changing the role of teachers and improving their professional quality;using new teaching means and evaluation sy stem;taking the MOOC as the medium to transform those unqualified classes into qualified ones in colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas.
