Objective:To compare the curative effect of minimally invasive therapy with Kirschner wire and open reduction therapy with plate and screw internal fixation in the treatment of distal radius fractures. Methods:From June 2017 to June 2019,70 patients with distal radius fractures were enrolled, they were randomly divided into two groups with 35 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with minimally invasive therapy with Kirschner wire. The control group was treated with open reduction therapy with plate and screw internal fixation. The therapeutic effects between the two groups were compared. Results:The excellent rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The healing time of fractures, the disappearance time of swelling, the relief time of pain, the time of operation, the amount of bleeding loss during operation, the length of hospital stays and the incidence of complications in the observation group were all significantly lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 or 6 months of treatment, the score of wrist function(Cooney)of the observation group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with open reduction therapy with plate and screw internal fixation, minimally invasive therapy with Kirschner wire for distal radius fractures is more effective and safer.
