硕士研究生学术英语能力培养模式——以语言学系统理论为视角

Cultivation Model of Academic English Ability of Postgraduate——From The Perspective of Linguistic System Theory

从语言学系统的概念出发,以硕士研究生学术英语能力培养为研究对象,厘清学术英语能力构成要素及内涵,并结合实际英语教学提出与学术英语能力要素及内涵对应的英语教学模式。认为学术英语能力不是英语能力与学术能力的简单相加,而是英语基本技能、学术语篇能力及批判思维能力纵聚合而发展的学术英语能力潜势,在教学中不应将三个方面割裂脱节,而应彼此融合、综合培养。

From the concept of linguistics system,this article takes the cultivation of academic English ability of postgraduates as the research object,clarifies the constituent elements and connotation of academic English ability,and proposes the corresponding teaching mode.It believes that academic English ability is not the simple combination of English ability and academic ability.It is a competence potential of integrating English basic skills,academic discourse competence and critical thinking.In teaching,the three aspects should not be cut apart,but should be integrated with each other and cultivated comprehensively.
