提升地方高校本科毕业论文质量的途径--基于梧州学院工商管理专业的思考

Ways to Improve the Quality of Undergraduate Thesis in Local Universities——Reflections on Business Administration Major of Wuzhou University

毕业论文质量是衡量高校教学水平的重要依据,提升本科毕业论文质量不仅是提高教学质量的客观使然,而且是培养应用型人才办学定位的必然要求。以梧州学院工商管理专业404篇毕业论文为样本,利用方差、平均数、中位数、优秀率和及格率等指标研究发现,该专业毕业论文优秀率偏低,论文质量整体上出于中等水平。究其原因,主要受学生的论文撰写态度、知识储备、师生科研创新能力、监管细节等因素的影响,为此,从端正写作态度、开展科研驱动式教学方式、培育师生科研素养和完善激励制度等方面提出提升工商管理专业毕业论文质量的对策建议。

The quality of graduation thesis is an important basis to measure the teaching level of colleges and universities.Improving the quality of undergraduate thesis is not only the objective result of improving the teaching quality,but also the inevitable requirement of training applied talents for running a school.Taking 404 graduation theses of business administration major of Wuzhou university as the sample,the paper adopts the indexes of variance,average,median,excellent rate and passing rate,and finds that the excellent rate of graduation thesis is low,and the quality of thesis is in the middle level.The reasons are mainly influenced by students'attitude towards writing papers,knowledge reserve,scientific research innovation ability of teachers and students,and supervision details.Therefore,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the quality of graduation thesis of Business Administration major from the aspects of correcting writing attitude,carrying out research driven teaching method,cultivating teachers and students'scientific research literacy and improving incentive system,so as to provide reference for local colleges and universities for reference.
