In a normal healthy state, infants themselves and their intestinal flora are in a state of harmony, interdependence and mutual restriction. Most of the vitamin K required by human body is mainly synthesized by intestinal flora. If intestinal flora is unbalanced, vitamin K-dependent coagulation factors will be reduced, which will easily lead to secondary gastrointestinal bleeding. In addition,in recent years, the correlation between vitamin K from intestinal flora and bone metabolism has attracted much attention.Regulating intestinal flora to promote bone health, inhibit bone calcium loss, and provide new targeted therapy for children with rickets and other bone metabolic diseases,it is one of the current research hotspots. However, there are a large number of intestinal microbes, and the mechanism of different strains’ influence on the human intestinal tract and health needs to be further studied. The correlation between intestinal flora, vitamin K and bone metabolism needs to be further explored in a large sample and prospective studies.
