脉冲类型可调的锁模光纤激光器

The Adjustable Pulse Type in a Figure-eight Fiber Laser

摘要 本文基于非线性光环形镜锁模的掺铒光纤激光器,通过调节偏振控制器,实现了输出锁模脉冲类型可调。本文给出了三种调谐状态:传统孤子锁模脉冲输出,脉冲宽度1.16ps;双峰结构光谱的脉冲输出,双峰位于1555nm和1575nm两个波段附近,且通过调节偏振控制器的偏振角度,在光谱中心波长附近可微调;实现了类噪声锁模脉冲输出,当泵浦功率400mW时,类噪声脉冲重复频率为3.73 MHz,脉冲能量3.47nJ,脉冲的基底宽度为129ps,脉冲尖端宽度为0.86ps。对不同应用领域给出了灵活的选择途径。 We demonstrated an erbium-doped mode-locked fiber laser based on nonlinear optical loop mirror.By adjusting the polarization controller,the adjustable mode-locked pulses were obtained.The three kinds of tuning states were given in this paper:The traditional soliton mode-locked pulses were realized with pulse width 1.16 ps;The dual-wavelength structure near the wavelength from 1555 nm and 1575 nm could be reached by changing the angle of the polarization controller and the central wavelength of the spectrum could be tuned;Continuing to adjust the polarization controller,the noise-like pulses output were realized when the pump power was 400 mW,the pulse repetition frequency is 3.73 MHz and the pulse energy of 3.47 nJ.The base width of the noise-like pulses was 129 ps,and the pulse peak width was 0.86 ps.Flexible selection approaches are given for different application fields.
