子女支持对城乡老年人身心健康的影响研究——基于中国老年社会追踪调查2014年数据的实证分析

Research on the Influence of Adults’ Support on the Physical and Mental Health of Urban and Rural Elderly--Empirical Analysis Based on China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey 2014

基于中国老年社会追踪调查2014年数据,探讨子女支持对城乡老年人身体及心理健康的影响。结果显示,子女经济支持、服务支持及情感支持对老年人身体健康无显著影响。子女经济支持显著影响老年人的心理健康,对于农村老年人回归系数为β_中=-0.360,p<0.05与β_高=-0.679,p<0.001,对于城市老年人,仅高水平经济支持能显著降低其抑郁情绪(β_高=-0.497,p<0.001);子女服务支持对老年人心理健康无显著影响;子女情感支持显著改善城市老年人的心理健康(β=-0.649,p<0.001),对农村老年人的心理健康影响不显著。总结而言,子女支持显著影响老年人的心理健康,但对其身体健康无显著影响,城乡老年人对子女支持的需求有差异。

Based on China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey in 2014,this paper explored the influence of adults’ support on physical and mental health of elderly.Results showed that adults’ financial support,service support and emotional support had no significant influence on physical health of elderly.Adults’ economic support significantly influenced mental health of elderly,the regression coefficient for rural elderly was βmedium=-0.360,p<0.05 and βhigh=-0.679,p<0.001,for urban elderly,only high level of economic support significantly reduced elderly’s depression(βhigh=-0.497,p<0.001).Adults’ service support had no significant effect on mental health of elderly. Adults’ emotional support significantly influenced mental health of urban elderly( β =-0. 649,p < 0. 001),while there was no significant influence on rural elderly. In conclusion,adults ’ support significantly influenced mental health of elderly,but it had no significant influence on physical health of elderly,and the demands of support from adults were different between urban and rural elderly.
