Electronic Commerce and Firm Dynamics:A Micro Interpretation

我国电子商务的蓬勃发展是供给侧改革时期的典型事实。研究电子商务对企业活力的影响,使用第十次全国私营企业调查数据,选取企业开工率表征企业活力来开展实证研究。研究发现,整体上,电子商务的发展显著提升了民营企业开工率;结构上,在欠发达地区,制造业、生产性服务业、非生产性服务业的民营企业,电子商务对开工率的提升作用非常显著。一系列的稳健性检验均支持了上述的结论,有助于引申出推进电子商务发展和提升民营企业生产活力的政策建议。

In China,rapid growth of E-commerce is a stylized fact under the Supply-side Structure Reform background.The paper tries to study E-commerce's effects on firm's dynamics.We used the tenth private firm survey data,chose firm's operating rate as firm's dynamics.The empirical results prove that E-commerce can significantly promote private firm's operating rate from integral aspect and structural aspect.The robustness tests also support these findings,which help us propose corresponding policy suggestions.
