论英语教学多模态化的理论基础

On the Theoretical Basis of Multimodalization of English Teaching

摘要 文章将多模态英语教学置于新媒体时代的背景之下,通过回顾多模态化教学相关文献,考察学界对多模态理论的探讨和认知,细究多模态概念所包含的内容,深入探究教师采用多模态教学以吸引学生进行语言学习的理论基础,肯定了多模态化教学的必要性,并探讨了在英语教学中采用多模态化教学的好处。 In this article,multimodal English teaching is set in the background of new media age.By reviewing the literature on multimodal teaching,this article discusses the theoretical concepts supporting the multimodal approach.It scrutinizes what is entailed by the concept of multimodality and explores the theoretical foundation for teachers adopting multimodal teaching in order to engage their students to activate language learning.The necessity of adopting multimodal teaching approach is approved.And also,the benefits of employing a multimodal approach in English teaching are discussed.
